90 Day and immigration Monies needed in Bank ?

Featured Replies

Trying looking everywhere but can anyone advise on the following :-

Retirement visa runs out end of July but 90 day report is next month March 20

Question is do I need 800,000 65,000 or nothing in Bank to get the next 90 day ..

Plans are to leave when Visa runs out as not inclined to bring 800,000 Baht to sit in a bank over here.

Sensible replies would be appreciated :-)

Are you sure you have a Visa because a 90day visa does not require 90-day reports to be made.

90 day report had nothing to do with your current permission of stay or visa

Nothing.

I assume you are asking about that due to recent changes to the rules.

Nothing has changed for doing your 90 day report.

"Plans are to leave when Visa runs out as not inclined to bring 800,000 Baht to sit in a bank over here. "

If there was any chance that you might want to extend your "permission to stay" in July then you would EITHER need to show 65k coming into your Thai bank every month since this method was announced (i.e. from Jan, so you might get away with bringing in 130k this month), OR have 800k in your bank for 3 months before you apply (with some suggestion that it's now just 2 months).

..OR hope the agents are still able to provide the necessary "service".

Op leaving. "No plans bring 800k..."

Do 90 day report with current tm30. No problem.
