Does my package holiday include a visa?

Featured Replies

Hi - I am kinda of freaking out!

I booked my family holiday to Thiland (take off is in three weeks) through Hays Travel and am suddenly panicking that my family and I don't have Visa's included in the package. It was never discussed when I went into store to book it so I've reached out to them again via email but am still waiting for a reply. Just wanted to drop the question in here to see if I can get my answer any quicker. With only three weeks until take off I know am I basically out of time... If I don't yet have a visa is there a way to get one in time before I travel.

Thanks,

Margo

Visa requirements are based on your nationality. If you are holding UK passport, you don't need a visa to visit Thailand for tourism purpose.

Assuming you all have passports on this list:- http://www.thaiembassy.com/thailand/changes-visa-exempt.php you don't need a visa for short stays (UK passports get a 30 day stamp which can be extended by another 30 days if needed).

Just make sure you have funds equivalent to 10k Baht per person (cash) and you'll be fine.
