Hotel Kl

Featured Replies

Next week i'm going to KL for a new non o based on marriage can anybody reccommend me a good hotel not too far from the thai embassy?

for 1500 to 2000 baht

Afraid I can't help you out much for hotel names as I have little experience except with my digs. About the nearest hotel to the embassy is SuCasa on Jalan Ampang but it's near your top end as I recall. Check out other KL threads on the visas forum as this question has been asked before. Many cheap hotels around Jalan Bukit Bintang and only a short LRT or taxi ride from the Embassy.

When i went last year I noticed that the Princess Hotel is the most close,a seven 11 closeby, and half a minute walk to the embassey,so you are the first to arrive ,like I did.

Be aware that if you stay in Bukit Bintang, the traffic is horrible and many taxi drivers don't want to put their meters on for the trip to the embassy. If you persist, you will find one. We were there in December and stayed at the Royale Bintang Hotel. Great location for the evenings. Hassle getting to and from the embassy. It isn't that far but in the traffic it can take a long time.

Sorry, can't remember the rates but I am pretty sure it is in or near your price range. Check on the net.
