Last week I read about a possibility to get thai baht with Visa card at 7 eleven counters ! How high are the fees ? Cheaper then the 220 baht of normal atms? A friend told be , depend where the Kk was issued fees can be different , but he also don’t know any Further information about exact coasts ?

Cash advance with credit card over the counter? I never have heard of it.

It's the norm...where have you been hiding? Though it's useless if you have a credit card that charges it own fees.

Certainly avoid Siam Commercial. They charge an "Admin Fee" to make up for their loss of ATM fee.
