Can i use CIMB Thai to apply proof of funds?

Featured Replies

Today I just open CIMB Thailand Savings account.

Can I use this CIMB Bank to apply proof of funds? Or have to be restricted to local banks in Thailand?

For Non-O Visa

Yes you can use a CIMB savings account as long as you have instant access to the funds.

CIMB (Thailand) is a local bank. I have used them in the past.

Thanks, guys, as I thought CIMB Thai consider a foreign bank.

That is my bank ... they will supply you with the immigrstion letter stating the value of your deposit.

If you use their term deposit you can only get a book update after adding money.

I use their Speed Saver as my current account keeping 1M thb plus in it to get their top rate on that a/c.

They no longer issue Credit Cards ..

but do issue a debit card with a six number pin ... also internet banking

Based in Malaysia, but there is a Thai branch/division. I use CIMB Thai and their service is great; letter and photocopies of the bank book for immigration. 1.65% on their top fixed savings account.
