Thai re-entry visa easements for KNY

Featured Replies

The Thai government will waiver re-entry visas for Cambodian workers from April 5 to April 30.  This is to facilitate their return after crossing the Cambodia-Thai border to visit their families for Khmer New Year (April 14-16).

This was announced by the Cambodian Embassy in Thailand on Friday (Feb. 22).

“The Cambodian Ambassador in Thailand wants to inform the public, especially Cambodian workers who live and work legally in Thailand, that the government of Thailand agreed to help Cambodian workers who wish to celebrate the upcoming Khmer New Year at home by waiving the need of a re-entry visa for nearly a month.”
