What is the best interest rate people are getting on their 800k deposit for Thai Immigration 

purposes.

 

SCB seems now to offer this CD for 1 year at 2.05% with a taxation charge on the interest.

Be aware SCB usually requires a work permit to open any account. Also, this FC Fund is an investment fund not a fix account or savings account and may not meet Immigration requirements.

The best rate I know of for a TD is CIMB's 2.5% for 2 years.

 

The best rate I know of for a savings account is Krungsri's MTD account, currently paying around 1.3% for balances under 1MB.
