Which Thai embassy/consulate in SEA doesn't have the 400k bank statement requirement for a marriage based non-immigrant O visa?

Any idea about Singapore or Indonesia?

Edited by Elizway

Savannakhet in Laos is most often used. Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Yangon are also possible.

Singapore is usually a bad choice for visa applications. I do not know about Jakarta.

You need to show 400k baht in the bank or proof of income.

How do they want this proof? Does it have to be a Thai bank? A statement printout from my non-Thai bank account web portal?

Either one will be accepted.

I am not aware of anybody getting one at the embassy in Manila.

Is Jakarta issuing one year non O visas for being married to a Thai citizen, or just single entry 3 month visas?

I have seen report of people getting a multiple entry non-o based upon marriage there.

But as I wrote earlier they will want to see 400k baht in the bank.

I can recall a report of Hanoi want financial proof.

Several good reports for Ho Chi Min City. No proof needed.

The letter from the wife plus the normal marriage certificate, signed copies of house book and ID card.
