Suvanabhumi re-entry office opening times?

Featured Replies

Finding mixed information about the re-entry office opening times. Best info I could find was (05.00 - midnight), but this info was a over a year old.

Can anyone confirm. I have a flight 07.45. Cheers.

It is open 24 hours a day.

The desk is located in immigration zone 2 after security and before the departure immigration desks.

Cheers. I saw it was 24 hours before but then changed.

It changed a couple of times over 2 years ago or more. When they moved the desk back to the location after security it went back to 24 hours.

I recently caught a flight out (passing through immigration at 12:30 am) and the desk was open with a bored looking lady sitting there. It was clearly marked with signs, but could be missed if there are a lot of people milling about. It was in the corner opposite the entrance (e.g. the far immigration queu) when I passed through.

I can confirm that it's open 24 hours.  Make sure you get it before you show your passport to the immigration officials.

Is it the same fee as at the City Immigration Offices ?

The same fee + an admin charge if you do not have preprepared paperwork + a photo.

I think they charge few 100/200 BHT extra for pics and photo copies. I have done it more than dozen times but don't remember the exact price.

I will be travelling out of BKK on TG in First Class.  I understand they have a "private" Immigrations kiosk.  If I use that, can I loop back somehow to get to the re-entry permit counter, or should I just forgo the TG F counter and go through the "normal" Immigrations lobby?

I have read of people being escorted from the priority immigration zone to zone 2 to get a re-entry permit.

It is either taking a chance of being able to do that or going through zone 2. Or getting one from your local immigration office.
