rooster59 Posted March 23, 2019 Share Posted March 23, 2019 MEA confident of no blackouts on election day By The Nation Nation/Ratchanon Intharaksa The Metropolitan Electricity Authority expressed confidence on Saturday that no blackout would occur at ballot counting and election coordination centres in Bangkok on Sunday. The MEA announced on its web site that it has checked and changed defective cables and electricity transmission equipment in Bangkok in preparation for election day. The MEA said it has also prepared power backup systems at 136 ballot counting and election coordination centres in Bangkok in case of power disruption.
