The family of the late DJ, who was found dead in his hotel room in Oman in April 2018, have announced a new foundation - named in his memory - to raise money and awareness for mental illness and suicide prevention.

 

Although no official cause of death was released, the Swedish DJ, whose name is Tim Bergling, struggled with substance abuse and depression.

 

The Tim Bergling Foundation will also address issues like climate change and nature conservation.

 

"Tim wanted to make a difference," his family said in a press release.
