Danny Glass was handed down an 18 month suspended prison sentence and 15,000 baht fine for the charge of 'reckless driving (riding) causing death'.... [of his pregnant girlfriend].

That accident seems less cut and dry than this obvious example of extremely poor and dangerous driving.

I wonder what charges this motorcycle rider will face for killing his passenger in through such reckless, careless and downright dangerous riding.

thats about 5 this month, they will go up the inside of buses and lorries and dont take into account that the rear wheels do not follow the front when a long vehicle, turns, yes agree, no training what so ever

One of the reasons sadly it is safer for someone to drive their own bikes.  A lot always speed and sometimes are drunk or hungover or on yaba or whatever, Sure there are a few good ones but the industry is all about money and unregulated.  These dummies need to learn that if you want drunk drivers off the road and unlicensed drivers off the road then at least offer a safe and economical alternative not having to risk live and limb to go to the shopping center.

What a cretinous manoeuvre! Lack of training is not a factor in this accident, just an utter lack of common sense. At least he’s still alive to reflect on his abject stupidity and recklessness, and the fact that he killed his innocent passenger.

Common sense and a sense of responsibility might help too, instead of them simply blaming others for the 'lack of a safe and economical alternative'. I'm sure that there are many, many countries around the world where the same transport opportunities might be lacking, and I'm also sure that dozens are not killed on the roads there each day due to the stupidity of the motorcycle drivers.
