Jon Snow: He knows something

Game Of Thrones returned for its eighth and final season on Monday morning after a near two-year absence.

HBO aired episode one of the fantasy epic simultaneously in the US and UK.

Hardcore British fans had to stay up until 0200 BST to return to the Westeros winter for the first time since August 2017.

Secrets were revealed and families reunited as the battle for the Iron Throne intensified, with the 'undead' army inching ever closer.

Beer, pizza, food home delivery and pop corn sales will boost up!

I downloaded the first episode of this eighth year, subtitled in Chinese and fortunately in English :cheesy:!
Great episode!

Excellent production values, great acting, Cersi got nailed by the bad man, Theon rescued his sister and got a well deserved head butt, Jon flies on a dragon and <deleted> himself, the dragons are jealous. However, no one that I recall got murdered, or tortured. Hopefully the show hasn't gone PC and the gore is to come.

Too early to tell if it's going to be as good as expected.

Ep 3 huge disappointment to me after all the hype. Could have been edited down to a normal length episode without losing anything. The battle against Bolton for Winterfell was better by far.

This one wasted way too much time on irrelevant stuff, like Arya running down seemingly never ending tunnels and Sansa/ Tyrion wasting a lot of time hiding behind a wall and looking at each other.

Don't get the 3 eyed raven spiel either. All that effort to become the raven and what does he do, sit under the weirwood tree and do nothing.

There were some good scenes, like the Dothraki riding off to die with blazing arakhs, but too few. The producers spent way too much time on silly things like the red woman lighting the wood, and dragons flying through a cloud.

Hopefully once we get back to Cersei, it will be back to the GOT that we love, with all it's intrigue and backstabbing. There's only 3 episodes left to rescue this series from disappointment.
