Bang Bua Thong police and a rescue foundation were called to a bridge on Kanchanapisek Road heading towards Sai Noi after a collision between three cars yesterday.

Dead in the driver's seat of a black Toyota Altis was 33 year old Somchai Khwanyeun from Nonthaburi. He was jammed into the steering wheel.

His passenger Khanitha Thuayjan, 35, was taken to Bang Bua Thong Hospital with serious injuries.

They had been involved in a collision with a taxi driven by Anek Nuchorun, 55. There were five passengers in the Toyota cab and everyone was injured and taken to the same hospital, reported Daily News.

The driver of a Honda Amphika Yutisri, 42 said she was taking her mother Thanawan and two siblings on an errand. She saw the other cars collide then one smashed into her.

Her mother suffered an injury to her shoulder.

Police said they suspect one of the vehicles was in the wrong lane.

Investigations continue and no charges have yet been made.

The Thai roads looks like MMA but for motorsport, with an insane mix of formula 1, IndyCar, Speedway, Rally etc, and hardly any rules. How about Mixed Insane Motor Sport, MIMS?

Why are Thais useless drivers?

Mainland China is even worse.

Meanwhile Russian + snow + vodka = accident. But at least that's understandable.
