And do you think that all the socioeconomical debate, discussion, and changes will ultimately lead to an improved Thailand starting later this decade and moving towards the future?

Well its all history in the making ;-)

Do you mean what historians refer to as a "Watershed" in History?

There will be major changes coming in the future for Thailand most of which can not really be discussed here though.

To reply to your subject heading, I think it's history repeating itself. With another coup and new stories of shootings, murders, corruption, crime waves, problems in the south, etc etc oh yes and blaming farangs for most the the good Countries ills..... Nope it's just history repeating itself.

I think all people throughout History in all parts of the world would like to believe that they are living in crazy times where so much is changing so fast.

With All The Current Events In Thailand, are we witnessing history in the making?

Its the current events in China that are going to be the deciding factor in SE Asian History, perhaps global.

It'll be the new LOS. I can see the holiday commercials now "Come visit us, before we visit you"

every day is history. I will say I remember when the baht-rate was over 40.
