can i go get three more mai sai 30 day arrival stamps?

i got 3- 30 day entry stamps in mai sai ,,,then

i got a single entry 60 day tourist visa in laos, after 60 days I extended 30 more days in chiang mai.

so at end of that extension can i go to mai sai and get three more 30 day stamps(over three months i mean)?

The total probably does not equal 90 days and if not you will not be allowed to return for more than a couple of days that you might have remaining - as getting a visa in Burma would not be possible would highly advise you not try this. If you used almost all your days you might be able to obtain a 7 day extension of stay on your current tourist visa entry and then be able to meet the six month conditions.

OK..

what date is the 90 days counted from?

from the beginning or end date of my last 30 day entry stamp?

my 30 day extension allowed on my 60 day T.V. expires 25 march,,,is there an extension behond that available?

Can i just get a burma visa in chiangmai and stay in burma 8 days till it is 90 days?

i see it will be 82 days from expiration of my last stamp in mai sai,

but is 101 days from when i actually got the last stamp in M.S..

maybe better to just go get another tourist visa in laos?

thanks

Go to the main immigration office at Mae Sai and ask, they were very helpful to me and told me I could get another exemption at the border when I was expecting to pay 1900 baht to extend my tourist visa.

This was less than 60 days from my previous 3 exemptions.

My thoughts were that the goal posts had moved again.

what is an exemption?how long?

i do know what you mean by goal posts.

but they do seem more consistant and pleasant now,, unless you mean they gave you another 30 day stamp in less than 90 days form the previous three stamps?

are you calling a 30 day entry stamp an exemption?

thanks

hello chlear909

i asked the same question to the head officer in the mai sai immigration 10 days ago,he said yes you can do this as long has your total stay in thailand from the start of your 3x30 day border runs to the end of your tv extentions (he said you can get an extra 7 days after your 30 day extention runs out for a fee of 1,900 :o is 180 days or more, you can do 3more 30day border runs.

please go and see the officer he sits on the left hand side in the office (most of the time there is only 3 officers there ) he speaks perfect english.
