Child rapist - aged 63 - arrested in north east Thailand

Police in Phetchabun have arrested a 63 year old man after relatives caught him climbing into the bedroom of a 12 year old girl last week. 

 

Samrit Mayanan has admitted to four rapes of the child. He started raping her last year. 

 

He was arrested yesterday on a warrant and faces multiple charges of rape of a minor along with trespass charges. 

 

He has been detained by the Ban Khok police in the north eastern Thai province.
