I was involved in an incident at Don Mueang when an employee at the gate needed to call security. No-one answered. Probably all on a somtam break. Maybe the same thing happened on this occasion.

Every body else sit on plane waiting whilst 1 person selfishly awaits whilst she shopping. This is why airlines have strict time departures.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

My last flight from Swampy back to China was delayed by 30 mins while a Chinese passenger refused to unpack her hand luggage weighing 18 Kg at the gate

We have this program called border security in Australia. One day a Chinese woman arrived with suitcases full of food and she didn't declare it, so they fined her. She said she would not pay, created a scene. They left her alone sitting on a bench, the customs shift changed, new staff on board, she's still sitting there. 12 hours later she decides she's had enough, pays the fine and off she goes. Why waste everybody's time. Not the smartest people in the world that's for sure.

My wife worked in a guet house here in CM the grandmother of a group of chinese broke the sink off the wall doing laundry. The guest house changed it out and repaired the damage. The group came to check out the wife says 5000.00b for new sink and repairs, we will not pay. My wife picks up her phone and says no problem I am calling the police. After a bit of open mouth gasp they paid the bill with several you are not good lady.

30 minute delay is not even newsworthy - jeez, you can wait in line over 30 minutes to take off once the plane is boarded and left the gate in many airports in the USA

They were able to get genetic testing for third generation descendants of those born before the hukou system was adopted to make sure they weren't too closely related, therefore risking birth defects. There were no records kept prior to then. No one had to and it's long been discontinued as has the Family Planning Ministry.

 

The one child policy was abolished three years ago. The two child policy earlier this year.

 

Do keep your nasty prejudices up to speed if you must share them..
