Palang Pracharat to announce formation of its coalition government

 

 

The Palang Pracharat party will join fiveother parties to announce the formal formation of a coalition government (today) Tuesday at the Sukosol hotel.

 

Palang Pracharat party leader Uttama Savanayana and party secretary-general Sontirat Sontijirawong, Ruam Palang Prachachart Thai secretary-general Thaweesak na Takuathung, Chart Pattana advisory chief Suwat Liptapanlop, Palang Thongthin Thai leader Chatchawal Kong-udom, Rak Poenpa Prathet Thai leader Damrong Pidet and Prachachon Patiroop leader Paiboon Nititawan will appear at a news conference to make the announcement, according to the Palang Pracharat news release.

 

Obviously, the news release did not mention the names of three other possible coalition partners namely the Democrat, Bhumjaithai and Chart Thai Pattana parties, which combined a command of 104 votes in the House.

They can hold as many press conferences, and make as many announcements as they like. It is votes on the floor of parliament that counts, if and when they can get sufficient votes in a confidence motion then they can form a government.

The dens and BJP have officially rolled over and can now have their bellies patted by the P's. I sincerely hope the Thai's remember this capitulation but I fear it will not be the case.
