khunphil
Hi, I am looking for some name and phone numbers of real TB (tuberculosis) specialist doctors in Chiangmai, or at least in Bangkok. I am speaking about doctors who really try to find the perfect cocktail to kill this bacteria, doing drug tests, and aware about the last drugs ... Anybody knows ? Thanks, Philip

Thanks, Philip Philip There is a female pediatrician at Chiang Mai Ram who sits on (heads up) the TB monitoring/awarenes group for the north of Thailand. I am sorry but I do not remember her name, however I am sure that if you were to make enquiries at Ram they would be able to point you in the correct direction. My brother in law died last year from TB at McCormick through sheer incompetence, stay away from that place. Not much information here I realise but I hope this gives you some help in your search. p1p
Try at the Government Health Offices on Suthep Road. I have seen an office in there dealing with TB in particular. They will not treat you there, but will be sure to know which doctors specialise in the disease. I also noticed one doctor in the Internal Medicine section at Ram had TB as one of his listed specialities.
