Hi I am British, 44 years old

I recently entered the Kingdom with a non imm O visa with no work permit granted for 1 year on the basis of marriage and support and plannng to stay. I understand I must leave every 90 days and am starting the process to ask for an extension of stay (90 day report)

In the meantime when I make my first visa run do I leave the kingdom go to the Thai consulate in that country and then ask for a further 90 day stamp? Is there a fee for this ? I was planning to take the oppurtunity to turn the "run" into a short trip to Singapore, can I get "stamped" easily in Sngapore at the Thai embassy/consulate and do I need to provide documentation to obtain a further permission to stay for 90 days?

Finally if I manage to obtain the extension, where do I apply before expiry ? In the kingdom or outside ? If outside do I have to go back to the UK or may I do it in another country?

This question also applies to if I was unable to obtain an extension ie 90 day report and had to get a new 1 year non imm O, do I apply in UK another country or the kingdom?

Many thanks in advance, sorry so many questions

No. Even if you have not applied for the extension of stay, you do not need to go to the Embasy/Consulate as you already have a one year multi entry visa. You simply cross the border and get automatic a fresh 90 day visa.

If you apply for the extension of stay, no need to travel.

Finally if I manage to obtain the extension, where do I apply before expiry ? In the kingdom or outside ? If outside do I have to go back to the UK or may I do it in another country?

You apply for the extension at Immigration inside Thailand.

If you do not get an extension of stay in the nest year, you need to go outside Thailand to an Embassy/ Consulate and get a new non immigrant visa.

ok I think, but if I don't get the letter of confirmation of salary from the British embassy (letter of confirmation of salary of 40,000 THB is required before I can apply for an extension) because they are too slow and I then have to leave but I choose not to do a border crossing but instead a short trip to Singapore how do I get my fresh 90 day stamp? At the airport on the way back or at the Thai embassy/consulate in Singapore?

If at some stage my 1 year extension is succeesful and I report evry 90 days upon expiry of ths visa where do I apply? Inside the kingdom or outside?

Thanks (again)

First 90 day address has nothing to do with your situation until you apply for an extension of stay from Immigration. That you should do with between 3 and 4 weeks remaining on a 90 day permitted to stay entry. You will need proof of 40k family income.

You obtain a new 90 day permitted to stay stamp that same way you did it before - you enter Thailand and get the stamp at the border. You enter the same visa information on your arrival card and because you have a multi entry type you can do this at any time.

You apply for your extension of stay at the local immigration office. In Bangkok that is Suan Phlu off South Sathon Road. You also make 90 day address reports to immigration once you apply for extensions of stay.
