Wisoot, listed by Sanook as being 54 years old, was arrested as he was on his way to apply for a course in hair cutting at a college. Someone recognized his face and called the Samet police who had an easy arrest. He admitted to stealing from upscale houses in Chonburi the latest being a house in the Huay Kapi sub-district of the central Thailand province. A video on the Thai Rath site showed Wisoot in one of his burgling escapades. At a house fitted with CCTV inside he is seen rummaging through personal belongings before being disturbed by a woman who returns unexpectedly. He then flees the scene with the proceeds.
