sidjameson
Im back in the uk looking after my own mother. Miss my gf. She is in Thailand looking after her mother who has altseihmers. She has an adult daughter who is a student at university. I know its hard enough these days bringing in a wife. Anybody know about bringing in wifes relatives? I was planning on living in Thailand. Now just trying to find a way forward.

AlexRich
If it were just your wife it would simply be a question of money, meeting the income requirements. The wife's mother with alzheimer's and the now adult daughter might be a major sticking point ... that could only be overcome by having very deep pockets. Good luck.
sidjameson
Found out that its only possible after the wife has permanent residency which would take five years. Then its straight forward enough as long as you wont ask for nhs care. Can close the thread now. But maybe this info is of use to others.
