Contact Your Consulate Regarding Thai Visa Chaos: have your voice heard

I attach a link to the USA Chiang Mai consular section contact page and urge other country citizens to post their consular info here. I hear so much complaints lately about genuine tourists being questined or accused for working in Thai or declined visa without any explanation at airports and borders. Many folks travel extensively, this does not mean they are not tourists. It is obvious Thai is trying to boost the Elite Visa sales which makes some lucky ones real rich. USA embassy did not issue any warning to her citizens regarding this, I believe anyone coming to Thailand should know they may not be granted a visa or an exemption without a reason. Your feedbacks will help alert the consulates residing in Thai, they may even take some action. Ignore the bunch of bonehead drunkens in this forum who will be bashing, spewing hate simply because they are too angry to be rationale.

Sorry but I know of no one who as a genuine tourist get refused entry. I know a lot who come here 4 to 6 times a year never an issue.

Then I know the "Tourist honest I am"

Who use tourist type visa's to live here full time. I know a few who have been refused a visa but that's the risk they take.

From a bone head not drunk yet forum user.

If my country had thousands of Thais with back to back tourist visas and doing border bounces to Norway, Germany and whatever and ask for yet another 30 day waiver or the 4th 'tourist' visa in 2 years, hmm, I would not mind that immigration does their job.

In EU they have no borders these days. You cross one without even knowing that. Meanwhile, in Thailand farangocide is in full swing.

You mean you would not mind that immigration breaks the law?

Maybe the Thais observed the 2015 crisis and realized they don't want the same, open borders, that is.

How many immigrants arrived to Europe lately from Syria, Iraq, Northern Africa with boats and via land ? ?  Hundreds of thousands !! Did Thai accept just 1 due to humanatarian reasons, No ! If Syrians or Iraqi arrive to Thai in packs possibly they would be lynched. Your examples don't support your point

Comparing a well developed European country with Thailand is not working in this case.

That in itself would suggest that the terminally myopic and inwardly-looking Thais are capable of embracing the concept that there is a whole other world out there and lessons to be learned from it. That defies one of the basic tenets of the, 'They don't like us here' brigades that the locals don't look up much while grazing.

Poorly reasoned point.

Except that those arriving to EU brought nothing other than their clothings, unemployment and increased crime. Thai is turning down mostly European folks who have been pumping significant cash into their economy
