Spouse extension money

What is the latest with the money for the spouse extension after applying?

I know the retirement extension has been changed, having to leave various monies for the year.

Simply can I spend it straight away and reseed in time before the next extension?

 

TM30 Online registration.

I can figure most of it out except what documents have to be sent with the request.

 

Help pdf in Thai. Asked immigration and they were not sure. Then one reads that they held up because of incorrect documentation.

Their have been no changes to the rules for 400k baht in the bank option for an extension based upon marriage. It is still 400k baht in the bank on the date you apply. But many office want proof the 400k baht is still in the bank when you go back for the one year extension stamp after the under consideration period. After that you can do whatever you want to do with the 400k baht until you top up your account for the next extension.

It is possible to do in Chiangmai. Type ch into the space and scroll down to find it.

For the second or following year's extension does the money have to be in the bank for 3 months or 2 months?
