Dogs welcome at second Bangkok park

Daily News reported that Bangkok governor General Asawin Kwanmuang will preside over the opening of a second park in Bangkok where dogs will be allowed.

The Bang Khae Phirom park joins Watchara Phirom as another dog friendly park in the capital.

Bang Khae Phirom will be opened by the general on August 30th.

The parks are part of a twenty year plan (2013-2032) to increase the amount of green space to city residents.

Now at least in some parks their dogs are also more than welcome.

Arjen.

Just wait out a Week, and follow your Nose.

Awesome, i wish Pattaya also had some dog parks. But also afraid may have a few problems as dogs here are not socialized from puppy age. But still is a great news.

Pattaya has beaches, I think it's good enough for dogs...

Also interested to know because in BKK it's hard to walk dogs anywhere.

At intersection of Watcharaphol and Ram Intra rd.

Basically under the tollway(?).

Where I live the council provides bags for people to pick up dog poop from their (and other forgetful?) people's dogs.

I hope that BKK people are encouraged to be thoughtful.

How funny. The people walking on the grass and the gods on the path. No poop in/on the grass???

Yes I can agree with that, but why get a dog if you're living in a city like bangkok?

Woof Woof!

For the same reason you'd get a dog if living in New York, Sydney, Tokyo etc.
