Featured Replies

I need to get a re-entry and live right next to Suvarnabhumi airport can I go get one from there before my flight date or do I need to wait till the same day as my flight ?

No, you can't.

You need a boarding pass and the desk is after security.

You plan to pop into the airport the day before will not work.

When you say after security is this before immigration or after?

I had a flight on a Wednesday 3 weeks ago, I was the only person for an Re-entry Permit, took about 5 minutes.

Advantage is that the IO let you skip the queu at Passport control, have done it for years never had to wait.

Its after security and before pp control. Not if anyone gets one from DM its after pp control there.

Did one last week. 1 person in front of me, so I had about a 10 minute wait. Which was faster than queuing to go through passport control.

Best to allow an extra 20 minutes or so, but getting a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi usually adds little time to the exit formalities.
