I'll change passport. can I get tourist visa again?

Featured Replies

I'll change passport next month.  There is only 1 stamp page in my passport.

I've been staying in Thailand around 4 years. 3 times tourist visa and then 3 times ED visa.

can I get tourist visa after I change passport ? I think there's record in new passport or Thai immigration.

should I leave Thailand at least 6 month or 1 year? or apply ED visa again?

Go live in Vietnam for say 3 months. Then play the tourist visa/visa exempt game in Thailand. Perhaps for something like 8 months. Wash and repeat. Sorry OP but there are threads about your same question every day. Do research and form your best option.

You can probably get a tourist visa from an embassy with a new passport. That´s not the problem. Your problem will be the risk of denied entry due to that the passports and your previous story is linked in Immigration database.

Not really related to your post but I found interesting. So I fly out/in los every 2 weeks. Last reentry I exit pp control and see mistake on until date. Instantly turn around. On screen I see my photo of this entry and also previous entry. No big deal just surprised.

The game changes everyday, I’m glad to hear his story, I’m coming soon on a tourist visa, retirement visa last year but this year I have medical reasons to travel

back to USA, a few times , just wondering if I have problems, it’s not worth getting retirement visa this time, so I was interested, Thx to OP
