If got a extension for 60 days as Re-Entry Permit as Parent of Thai Child, can do a re-entry permit on this despite the entry was done on initially on visa-exempt ?

You can get a re-entry permit for any permit to stay that will be valid for entry to the date that permit to stay ends.

You can certainly get one for the 60 day extension to visit your child.
