My OA extension is up in January. I dont feel like going through the hassle to renew the OA here in Thailand, Id rather just do it in the USA or even just get an elite or maybe an METV. I havent decided yet whats the best thing to do for my schedule.

 

I dont feel like going back to the USA until late March. 

 

So here are my two alternatives:

1. Leave a few days before my Visa expires, get an SETV in either Cambo or Burma. If I go to Cambo I will stay for a few weeks. The SETV convers me until I leave.

 

2. Or, just go and come back, use a VE and extend. 

 

Which do ya think?

Knowing you enjoy wandering etc I would suggest opt.1 fits your lifestyle and enjoyment the best. ????

What! You having to worry about your Spring visa and it is still 6 months away...immigration must be so proud...????

I would check out Taiwan for a few weeks.. And get a 60 while in Taipei.. Cambo is just old news, and a lot of bitter Thailand rejects.  Taiwan dollar is weaker than Baht for first time in a long time.  Duty Free island in Malaysia might be worth a look, too.

Whos worrying? Im just planning. I probably should have bought an elite already but I already paid for the balance of this year, and what if my ticker is shot?...the Doc hasnt given me the final tests yet.  So no sense shelling out 15 large. And definately I would want to wait out the exchange.
