hua hin non o extension pictures

Featured Replies

Hello,

can someone who recently did 1 year non o extension in hua hin tell me what pictures i need, since i got only a 2 day window to do my extension to avoid another 1900 bath.

Perhaps the immigration office has a photographer near it that does the required photos, like the other immigration offices I've used. Usually in the same place that does photocopies of the documents.

I assume you are applying for an extension of stay based upon marriage to a Thai.

Not sure about Hua Hin but here are the basic ones needed at other offices.

Two photos of you and your wife in the house. Many office offices want one of them together in bedroom (sitting on the bed together is OK).  One of both of you showing the house number.  One showing the house from the street.

thank for the quick replys!

If you just need passport size photos you can get them at any of the Kodak centers in Hua Hin. There are 2 in the night market vicinity.

no,i talk about non o marriage extension, but thanks

Did it a few months ago. If I recall correctly, this is what they took from our pile of photos:

Photo in the kitchen

Photo on the sofa

Photo on the bed

Photo outside with the house number clearly visible

Photo outside our gated community with the name/sign visible

In all of the pictures you have to stand close together (not on either side of the house number, for example). Also note that you need two copies of every photo (despite what the clueless "intern" at the immigration office tells you).

Bottom line is that it's better to be safe than sorry. Take and print a bunch of pictures and let them choose which ones they want. Printing doesn't cost very much anyway.
