parafareno
are the rules still the same, when buying condo, you need to transfer from abroad exact amount with subject buying condo? The problem is that you find a condo you like then you have to go home to do the transfer etc....and come back.... does it still have to come from your bank account, or can the family member do the transfer from theirs? and what are the chances to loose the condo for some reason, has it happened to somebody here on this board? ThomasThBKK
Doesnt need to be the exact amount, just put condo purchase in the title imo. Shouldn't be an issue to get a FET form nowadays, afaik it doesn't need to come from your personal account but needs to arrive on your personal account. Why would u need to have to go home to make a bankwire?

Unusual and interesting Q My guess is that if it comes into your account from any source abroad it should be ok Banks are always concerned about money laundering. Suggest that you speak with your Thai bank. Different banks may have different policies
