libya 115 Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 SOURCE: Pattaya People: March 27th 2007 Man Found with Drugs on Jomtien Beach The police were informed by tourists that at the area of Jomtien Soi 5 there are always drug addicts and dealers performing illegal activities in public and the police have tried to keep an eye on this for some time now. Finally on 25th March the investigating team together with police volunteers found a man walking on the beach and acted suspicious as soon as he saw the police. The police searched him to find 20 Yaba tablets hidden in his pocket. He was taken back to the station for questioning. Thi Phon, aged 21, from Cambodia, confessed that he was there to deliver these drugs to fellow Cambodian friends in that Soi. He stated that he entered Thailand to work as a construction worker but when he arrived he found that most of his friends dealt in drugs and made a good living so he decided to do it too.
