Hi, If it is a Multiple Entry Non B you can leave Thailand and re-enter as many times as you wish. You dont have to do anything previous to travel.

Everything he said ^^^

Plus, if you have a single entry visa and a work permit related extension of stay you must get a re-entry permit to protect your extension otherwise everything is cancelled when you exit the country :o

Also a handy thing to know about you multiple entry non-imm-b is if you leave the country and re-enter the month the visa expires you will get an additional 90 day stamp into Thailand. Rendering your 12 month visa nearly a 15 month stay if you time it right.

You can even get a re-entry permit and travel in and out during that "last" three months. :o

ok im confused now lol

i cant read thai and i dont know if its a multile entry or single entry but there is a stamp that does say :

"Please contact the immigration Office for a RE-ENTRY PERMIT, Before leaving thailand

so im guessing its a single entry NOn-b, what do you guys think?

and another thing, DO i have to go to soi suan plu(Immigration Office) to get the re-entry permit or do they give it at the airport or other countries when i arrive?

and another thing, is it free?

last question, how about if i visit more then one country before comming back to thailand, do i need more re-entry permits or 1 is fine? , and what is the consequence of leaving , then come back(without getting the re-entry permit) , will that cancel my non-B?, my non B expires on May 30th thanks peolpe

Re-entry permits are not free, 1000b for a single re-entry not sure for multiple. I have heard its available at the new airport but not sure where. Otherwise, you must go to an immigration office (Suan Phlu is fine).

The re-entry permit only covers departing and re-entering Thailand, other countries don't matter. If you leave without one and you have a single entry visa you will lose the visa and have to apply for a new non-imm b.

i reckon it must be single then... just guessing

multiple re-entrie is 3,900 baht

yes, you can get your re-entry permit at the airport. i just did. its where you que to show your passport after you checked in. a little table on the right hand side and it is faster than soi suan plu :o

Be aware that the re-entry permit is only valid as long as your visa is valid. So, if you get a re-entry permit it will expire when your visa expires

How did you obtain the non immigrant B visa (on what basis did you change)? The 2,000 baht would have been the change of visa fee. Have you obtained the one year extension of stay yet (1,900 baht more)?

The re-entry permit will have the same expiration date as you current permitted to stay until date and you enter that information in visa area of arrival card to Thailand when you return. It is not used on exit.

The cost is 1,000 baht single or 3,800 baht multi (so you would want multi if long period and more than 4 return trips planned). But remember if you return to Thailand and then go another country you will need a valid re-entry permit for your return.

You can obtain at any immigration office but you must have 4x6cm photos (and at airport that can be a problem if you don't have with you).
