bkk23234 Posted November 13, 2019 Share Posted November 13, 2019 Extension given in Chiang Mai (TM30 in Chiang Mai) but want to get a reentry permit at Cheangwattana, what do I need to do to get this and how long does it take say if I arrived at 9am? I know I can do at the airport on leaving but scared that I will face issues and lose the visa so doing it early would feel more comfortable. I GOT MINE TWICE AT EITHER AIRPORT ??? cost 1200 baht.....got fast tracked through passport control !!! It is 24/7 at both airports in Bangkok. You need nothing more than your passport if you are willing to pay a 200 service charge for them to do the TM8 form, copies and photo. asiaexpat Posted November 13, 2019 Share Posted November 13, 2019 At Swampy now and got reentry permit. Took a completed TM8 with picture, 1000 Baht and passport. Took 5 minutes. Cleared immigration and said I need reentry permit and IO stamped me out and took me to the reentry desk. Super easy. Used Priority line since I am over 70. You have to do it on departure from the country. The desk for them at Suvarnabhumi is after security before the immigration desks in immigration zone 2.
