The Universal Peace Federation yesterday granted the leadership and good governance award to Prime Minister Hun Sen.

 

The award was handed by UPF co-founder Hak Ja Han Moon at the Peace Palace yesterday during the Asia-Pacific Summit 2019. The UPF said on its website the award is given to anyone who has “demonstrated outstanding leadership principles, including fairness, honesty, accountability, transparency and inclusiveness”.

 

UPF spokesman Robert Kittel after the award was given said Cambodians should be proud. “We want to be able to make a network of former and current presidents and prime ministers,” Mr Kittel said. “They have lots of experience, they have lots of advice, and they have a lot of networking, so we want to use those in solving peace problems.”

They have  certainly forgotten that he was part of the Khmer Rouge and then deserted to flee to Vietnam;

Like giving the citizen of the year award to John Gotti. Or giving the most honest person alive award to Donald Trump. Or giving the most productive PM award to Prayuth.

 

What can one even say? Hun Sen is a mass murderer. He has stolen billions from his own people. He operates hit squads to take out his opponents.
