The five Bangkok districts are Taling Chan, Thawi Watthana, Phasi Charoen, Bang Khae and Nong Kham, while the five provinces are Phetchaburi, Ratchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Kanchanaburi and Chumphon. People residing in these areas need to produce only an ID card for unlimited free admission throughout the month of December. jacko45k
Foreigners, you will still be paying the 'special' price, and if brought by a local, we offer them a commission, that the foreigner of course pays!

ross163103
Went a couple of times many years ago when the price was the same for everyone, now don't bother because of "special pricing".
kidneyw
A few years ago, on the King's birthday (Fathers Day), there was a special price for fathers. Went with my kids, but still charged me the Full Monty.
champers
More plastic animals than real ones now. Occasionally take visitors but the place is less likeable.
