90 days reporting when leaving Thailand on the 90th day

Featured Replies

Hey guys and girls from near and far!

I have a question regarding the 90 days report:

I have had a 60 days visa + a 30 days extension, making my visa valid for a total of 90 days. This Friday, November 29 (visa day 90) my visa expires and I am leaving Thailand on this very same day too, hoping to be back again Monday for the final 30 days given with the exemption stamp.

So now for my question: Since I am LEAVING Thailand on day 90, do I still have to submit a TM47 report on my whereabouts on this same day or will my such automatically be registered with immigration when they scan my passport?

Thank you in advance for your answers and help!

Never done any 90-day reporting or TM-30.

There is nothing to worry about if you leave on day 90.  Make sure you leave by the day that is stamped in your passport and not what you think is 90 days.  Otherwise you may have overstayed.

You do not need to make a 90 day report as you can’t and aren’t staying longer than 90 days.

90 day address reporting is only for visitors given permission to stay longer than 90 days (not tourists), and that stay in the country longer than 90 days.
