Popular Post Brickbat
Doi Saket dam has a new bridge . Just built for pedestrians and 2 wheelers. Steel flooring just 1/2 Cm thick and buckling under the weight of cars and trucks. Not to mention the danger . Accident , one way or another, waiting to happen. A simple upright pole in the middle of the road at each end would stop this.

This is the bridge (suspension). https://www.google.com/search?q=Mae+Kuang+Dam+suspension+bridge&sxsrf=ACYBGNRiKMRDzeZDnkmwCjdn6bpRYsn4WA:1574952060591&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiHgfDQkY3mAhVRfSsKHfe0BMwQ_AUoAXoECBkQAw&biw=1536&bih=722 https://www.rideasia.net/motorcycle-forum/threads/the-new-mae-kuang-chiang-mai-suspension-bridge.8981/ It doesn't look like it's designed for vehicles, and judging by the surrounding terrain, I'd venture that only drivers of 4 x 4s might be tempted to try their luck (foolishly) as OP seems to imply.
lordblackader
It had bollards up at either end the last time I was there - unless they've been removed I can't see how vehicles would be able to cross it.

cheeryble
Not a perfect view but from here it looks like a WEIR with multiple supports.
Happy Grumpy
Safe. But I'm sure a Thai will somehow manage to plank their pick-up on top of the white towers.
