A good looking bike , looks like a Brit. bike from years ago , even the oil underneath.

This is what stopped me.

It also means no tax or insurance and a possibility of the bike being confiscated by the police should yo be stopped.

 

Nice looking bike, but sadly I have given up biking.

Confiscated by the cops. Wasn't gonna fight them on it. Not my bike, so let it go.

Dime to donuts it doesn't stay long in the impound lot. which is ok a shame to see old vintage bike go to waste.

I'd love to buy a W650. But this one not being road legal and having an apparent oil leak mean I am cautious. The oil leak I can fix, but how would you go about getting it registered for road use? I wouldn't even know where to start.

bike with no green book , cops take it off you and next week his son in Issan is riding it around, lol
