90 days report at Nonthaburi immigration (TM 30)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, do you know if Nonthaburi immigration requires the TM30 for the 90 days reporting? Also, do you know if the 90 days online reporting works there?

I always post mine to them. I have never included a TM 30 with the 90 day report.

I moved to Nonthaburi in September and did my first 90 day here online in October, even after they told my girlfriend they did not accept online...I figured I'd try anyway and it went thru no issues. I had filed a TM30 to report my address change in person on moving day and the officer told me to bring a screen print of the TM30 app confirmation when I came for the 90...just reporting what he said...but it seems like many offices various IOs are confused about any and all procedures. Do online ...mine worked

I did a one TM30 at Nonthaburi after returning from OS on holiday. Took copy of landlady's house book and ID card and put myself down as Possessor, which they wouldn't accept. They insisted that the owner/landlady had to be present at Imm..

I quietly protested, the officer spoke with her on the phone and insisted she attend for my next TM30. He hesitantly accepted this, but not next visit..

Another additional Imm hoop..

I've now returned down under..

I use the app and it seems to be working OK for me at Nonthaburi. They are very conscious of being Chaengwattana's lesser sibling. After telling them how I had done certain things online in Bangkok for the past 5 years, they told my GF in Thai "we're not Bangkok ...we have our own rules".  They did everything in their power to discourage online reporting telling me it won't  work, easier to come here...etc etc. A seriuous case of little brother complex.

I did my first 90 report at Nonthaburi in person, including a copy om my TM30; no problem.  I recently did my second 90 day report on-line also with no problem and received an almost instantaneous approval.  Please note this was with an Android app on my mobile.

If your local IO is a pain-in-the-a## to deal with (waiting times, requiring unnecessary additional documents, etc.) then do your 90-day reports on-line.

Also TM30 filings can be done easily on-line.

Not difficult at all.

> Luckily I have a friendly IO (SiSaKet office), but as it is +70 kms away from where I live, I do both of the above on-line and so only need to visit my local IO once a year for my extension of stay.
