Help Tourist Visa Advice Needed

Featured Replies

I have been working and living in Thailand for nearly two years, I had to cancel my WP and Non Imm B Visa due to change in work circumstance. I returned to England for some work and to renew my passport however now I have no proof of my permanent residence in the UK (needed for the new online application system) as I transferred all my bills to be delivered to my Thai address, nor do i have proof of where I'm staying in Thailand as the Condo I am still renting is in my name. Is it worth me trying to get a 30 day on arrival as I'm leaving to go Vietnam for a few days with friends and whilst I'm there try get a Tourist Visa  for Thailand?

You can save yourself a lot of aggravation if able to visit one of the honorary consulates (such as Cardiff or Hull) in person. You make an appointment and they issue you the tourist visa while you wait. It avoids all the silliness around the (hilariously inaccurately named) "evisa system".

Your UK passport is your proof of residence in the UK for the online system. Just upload a copy of your passport photo page for that requirement.

Proof of residency is only required for those that are not citizens of the UK.
