does anybody has experience with the dutch embassy in BKK i called them last week because i need to get a proof of income paper for a 1 year extension.

i had a dutch guy on the phone who first started i cannot get that paper i am not retired and not above 50 years.

after 10 minutes of talking and explaining why i needed the paper he said ok come and we will see if we give you that proof of income but also he mentioned again that the dutch embassy is not willing to help in matters like this.

does anybody has the same thing with the embassy or did i just have the wrong person on the phone?

i will go this coming friday over there with salary slips last 3 months a letter from my agency stating my year income over 2006 would that be enough or do i need more ???

please help i need my visa extended

If they do not have a prepared form (and it seems from conversation they may not) I would type up a short paper listing your salary (as supported by your pay slips) and be prepared to sign it in there presence and have them stamp it. That is probably what they will need/do. Sometimes they seem to make things more difficult than need be from reports here.

It is not clear if your nationality is Dutch, if you are they use to give a perfect service.

On the site of the Royal Dutch Emassy you can find all info you may need.

The Dutch embassy has been VERY helpfull in my case even if I am not Dutch but a foreigner who lived in Holland for over 30 years :o

The Dutch embassy staff are very helpfull in my opinion.

Use the phone to find the right person and then go and meet them is your best option.

:D

Ok people here my reply on the horrifiing dutch embassy.

i went to the embassy today with a statement from my company stating year income/ splitted up per month, i had 6 salary slips with me transfer letters from my agency stating that it was send to my bank account, print outs from my bank account stating the money arrived there and was :o simply refused the paper proof of income.

why i asked they stated i needed a tax year income paper stating my income and tax payments, there i am working freelance for a agency they are not entitled to make one or they donot need to provide one like that.

i explained this over and over again they refused to give me a paper, then on advice of Lobburi i gave them a paper just saying that my income was according attachments and would sign it there, if they could stamp that paper they refused also to stamp this paper.

i am ashamed that i am dutch, this embassy and those dutch people have no right to exist in this world.!

i am out of options now any help would be great!!

what papers do i need to get a multiple entry visa for a year in Singapore i have now a 3 months visa running out next month just before our baby is born so please any advice would be great! :D
