Flight Sim

My son taking off on runway 19L Suvarnabhumi in Qantas 737 on his home Sim.

I can't remember all the ins and outs of the setup except it is mainly Saitek hardware and Microsoft flight Sim or X-Plane 11 software.

It was built in stages. I'd like dual screens when I work out how to do it.

The graphics is superb and you can fly from basically any airport to any airport in any plane, and program in any type of weather or emergency.

It seems your son has a lot of money...

And I thought I spend a lot of money on my special Logitech Flight Simulator cockpit sometime in the 1990th...

It looked a little better than this thing ????

Lol.

The son is 9 years old and his Dad isn't exactly loaded.

I started with the peddles and yoke. Then added the throttle quadrant. Then one by one all the other stuff.

Believe it or not the little box on top of the instrument panel was the most expensive, but it can do everything.

I think the software was free but I ended up getting the paid version.

All in all he seems very happy with it.

Good gear set up there buddy, i would fork out for a 65"-75" screen or split screens and the world would look much better, i myself dabbled with IL2 Sturmovik 1946 and Pacific Fighters and became quite good at flying messerschmitt BF 109...

I do have a large screen but haven't tried connecting it. I might give that a go before going the 2 screens. It might just look ok.
