Qatar Airways has announced a new route between Doha, Qatar, and Siem Reap with the scheduled service to commence in November this year.

 

The new Doha to Siem Reap route is the second flight that Qatar Airways operates in Cambodia, meaning the airline will have two liaisons, one linking Doha to Phnom Penh and the new one between Doha and Siem Reap. The route will initially be running five times per week according to the Cambodia Airports statement released yesterday.

 

The new route will keep increasing tourists who visit the home of the Angkor Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Cambodia Airports said. “The new service will contribute in re-boosting the Siem Reap destination by further improving connectivity and providing passengers with more travel options,” Alain Brun, CEO of Cambodia Airports, said in the press release.
