O Visa

Featured Replies

If you have O Visa and have to leave Thailand after 90 days, how long do you have to stay abroad before returning?

You only have to be out of the country long enough to turn around and come back.

Its a stupid ridiculous thing but yep just cross the border and head straight back.

With what class of "O visa" you have to leave Thailand after 90 days??

every 'O' visa only gives a 90 day stamp on entry

an 'O''A' gives one year stamp

Any non-o visa issued by a embassy or consulate only allows a 90 day entry. A single entry visa only allows one and a multiple entry allows unlimited entries for a year from the date of issue.

You are probably referring to the 1-year Multi-Entry Non Imm O - marriage Visa.

That Visa is valid for 1 year, but when entering you only get a 90-day permission to stay.  So you need to leave Thailand by the time it expires, but you can also extend every entry with 60 days at your local IO.
