90 Day shortened by doing online.

Featured Replies

I have only recently started doing my 90 day reports online. I have done the last 3 this way.

When I renew my retirement extension I always like to do early in case there is a problem that can be sorted by the due date. Even doing it early I still get one year from the expiry date.

However I just noticed 90 day reporting is not the same. My next report was due on the 8th Feb. I had missed one about a year ago and was fined 2000baht so I put a reminder in my phone to remind me 14 days before due so I can do online. I did it on the 26th Jan and was approved and my next is due 25th April which is 90 days from the 26th Jan but only 77 days from 8th Feb when next one was due.

So by doing it online you are always going to "lose" 7 days at minimum.

The consequence being what, exactly?

Did I say there was a consequence, just made a statement?

In other words, 'much ado about nothing'.

I see. Have a nice day.

Nope, gives you keyboard warriors something to go on about.

No difference between doing them online, in person or by mail. The day your new report is processed it when the new 90 days starts.

Same if you you do a report in person within the 7 days late allowance.

Yep, understand that now. Initially thought it might have been the same as retirement extension.

The consequence is that if you use a planning tool such as Google Calendar, then you must put an automatic reminder at +77 days, not +90 days.

Not a big deal though, as doing this report online just take 2-3 minutes.

Nothing to do with online, same if you go to the office.

Not exactly. If you goto office you can do at 90 days but if you do online you can't do less than 7 days before due date so max 83 days.

Well, they will count the 90 days from the day they "push the button".

So yes you "loose".

But as above: what's the issue?

Sitting on the PC four or five times a year?

I would be happy if I could.

Since having a new passport "can not".

On Tuesday I asked at Khon Kaen immi if they (she) can do something about it.

Answer: "you can do 14 days before. If not work come here" :crying:

She did not get it all.
