Australian volunteer charged with fraud in Cambodia

Featured Replies

An Australian Christian missionary is being held in a Cambodian prison, after being caught up in a legal dispute over a building project he managed as a volunteer. 49 years old Martin Chan was arrested in November on charges of fraud, and he’s been denied bail. His wife Deborah Kim says her husband is innocent.

Good news.  I am sick of these foundations trying to wreck the local culture and native religion / beliefs, to convert them to Christianity... they are very insidious.... and con a lot of people into donating to their various charities through donations... the people thinking they are actually helping poor children or communities... when all they are really doing is funding a few selfish or deluded people to spread their religion, get themselves a nice car / house for free, and their visa paid for their cushy lives in a sunny foreign country.
