2nd Extension of a Visa Exemption

Featured Replies

Hi

im currently on an extension for a Visa exemption running out soon. I need around 7 more days before i can leave. Now i read that i can go apply for another extension, get denied and get 7 days to leave the country. Is this still the case? How likely would it be that i get no additional days?

Is there a chance the debied extension could interfere with an elite visa application?

If it matters Austrian Passport, Udon Thani Immigration.

Thank you

Applying for an extension, paying the 1900 baht fee and being granted 7 days to leave the country after it is denied. It is routinely done.

No affect on getting a visa of any kind due to having the stamp in your passport.

quick follow up question to see if i got my math right: if i go to request an extension on the 19th the additional 7 days would mean i could leave latest on the 26th until midnight yes?

The 7 days would start from end of your current permit to stay date not the day you apply.

If the 19th was the day your permit to stay ends the you could stay until the midnight on the 26th.
