non-personalized debit cards

Featured Replies

For us with "non-personalized" debit cards , etc all normal BKK Bank debit cards . .
Cards with no name printed on them as they are pre-made and can given out to client same day as register a savings account etc.

EMV-Chip on the card . . . . Does it contain the actual account holders name ?  .      ,i guess not as the card is pre-made but i want to know . . .

Any one have some insight on this question ?

The chip will most likely not contain it (does it contain the name if the card is personalized? Maybe it never does), but if you pay online the name (which visa/mastercard might check against) associated with the card number could of course be your real name.

I think it depends if the Bank have like a re-writer machine when u sign up for a account and they sign out the debit card directly might reprogram the chip with the account holders name. . . i really hope not. . nameless cards is best way to keep low profile when abroad.
